Isopar G solvent 50mL spray bottle. Suitable for film cleaning.
It is a slower drying, and film safe cleaner which you’d use for more sensitive films. It does have a stronger aroma than isopropyl, so a well ventilated space is important.
We use it by wetting a Pec-Pad (soft film wipe sold separately) and then hold it on the film between your fingers as you wind from one reel to another.
It is less inclined to damaged magnetic sound stripes, but still take caution and check first, particularly sound striped applied post development. Kodak factory applied stripes are normally more robust.
